Welcome

Rapid Distribution Deployment (RADID) is a goal-oriented methodology for successful FOSS-based operating system deployment in organizations where IT is not the core business.

RADID defines itself as a cost-efficient framework which guarantees governance over the deployed platform, being technology- and distribution- agnostic, as well as generic enough to provide a tough scaffold for today organizations willing to deploy FOSS fast.

This website gathers the original RADID paper, as well as documentation and success cases of RADID-inspired deployments, willing to provide a wide range of organizations with proven mechanisms for guidelining successful migration processes.

RADID is free knowledge, released from Venezuela to the public under the Creative Commons by-sa 3.0 license.
